The inspections below should be performed at the specified intervals to help insure the safety,dependability, and performance of your vehicle.

Inspections to be done twice a year:
  • Inspect safety belts, buckles, latch plates, retractors, anchorages, and restraint reminder system for damage, wear, and loose parts.
  • Inspect wiper blades for wear or cracking.

Inspections to be done at least once a year:
  • Lube key lock cylinders, body door hinges, hood, door, and trunk hinges.
  • Inspect starter safety switch and steering column lock for correct operation.
  • Inspect brake-transaxle shift interlock for correct operation.
  • Inspect automatic transaxle shift lock for correct operation.
  • Inspect ignition transaxle lock.
  • Inspect steering, suspension, and front drive axle boots and seals.
  • Inspect exhaust system for leaks, damage, and loose parts.
  • Inspect engine cooling system.
  • Inspect throttle system (mechanical throttles only).
  • Inspect brake system including lines, hoses, pads, shoes, calipers, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, rotors, and drums.
