Have you heard about the all-new Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport? One of the first things that caught my eye about the Cross Sport was the unique steep rear window and a coupe-like roofline, especially on an SUV. What I really liked about the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport was that it can comfortably seat five and still have room for your cargo! Honestly, for what I need, 3-rows in an SUV would be too much, so I would much prefer 2-rows. If you feel the same way, this capable, spacious SUV might just be for you!
If you have a big family and feel like you’re always on the road between soccer games, doctor appointments, meetings, and trips to the grocery store, you need to check out the Tiguan. This spacious SUV offers up to 3-rows and can sit up to seven! If you need more space for bigger cargo, the second- and third-rows conveniently fold down and allow you to get up to 65.7 cubic feet of space!
That’s probably one of my favorite things about the 2020 Tiguan, the versatility! No matter if I’m hauling equipment around for work, or carpooling to take the kids to school, the Tiguan can easily accommodate.
New Standard Features
Volkswagen decided to make Wi-Fi hotspot a standard feature for the 2020 Tiguan! This feature allows you to stay connected even when you’re on the road. Having a Wi-Fi hotspot in my vehicle would be a necessity for me, as I always need to be updated on my work emails.
I like knowing that I can drive with peace of mind thanks to standard safety features like forward-collision alert with automatic braking and a blind-spot warning system. Safety is built into the structure of the 2020 Tiguan with front and rear crumple zones that absorb crash energy and a rigid safety cage that helps protect me and my passengers. I really appreciate how much time, thought, and effort Volkswagen put into the safety of their vehicles, which gives me even more peace of mind.
Engine and Performance
The 2020 Tiguan offers such a dependable and efficient engine, that they found no need to offer more than one powertrain. Under the hood of every 2020 Tiguan, you’ll find the reliable turbocharged four-cylinder engine that can get 184-horsepower. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the Tiguan beats many of its rivals with up to 33 MPG with the 4MOTION all-wheel drive, or up to 32 MPG with front-wheel drive. Personally, I wouldn’t need the 4MOTION all-wheel-drive, but if you’re anything like my sister who likes to go camping and often needs to haul her equipment everywhere, you’d probably want to opt for the 4MOTION models.
